Jordan A. Greene

SGA President, 2016-17

Jordan is a senior, accounting student from Raleigh, North Carolina.  He has been involved in the Residence Hall Association, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, Mr. 1932 for the Alpha Phi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., and was elected Class President of SGA for three consecutive years.  Aside from his heavy involvement in extra-curricular activities, Jordan is also a scholar. He has attended some of the top leadership institutes in the country such as the Future Diversity Leaders Program sponsored by KPMG and the Thurgood Marshall Leadership Institute. He is a two-time summer intern with KPMG LLP, the #1 public accounting firm ranked in the FORBES 100.

Jordan stands on the platform, "All Or Nothing", which is exclusively for the people. It chronicles the testament of true commitment, true grit, and true knowledge—all of which he brings to the role of SGA President. His platform is dissected in three pillars: the passion, the execution, and the journey.  These lay the foundation for the "All or Nothing" movement and will usher in the success of his administration for the year. As a student leader, Jordan understands that each student on campus has what it takes. His platform will take that potential one step further by encouraging all students to take on the "All Or Nothing" mentality so that NC A&T will not only be the number #1 public HBCU in the nation but the #1 institution, period, in the world.

Upon receiving his Bachelor's Degree in 2017, he plans to pursue a graduate degree in Accounting or Business Administration. After his educational goals are achieved, Jordan would like to begin his career at a Big Four accounting firm or private banking industry, along with creating a community mentorship to empower young men. Above all, Jordan stands on the quote, "Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed." - Booker T. Washington
